Responsible for Change

I know a lot of Christians want to stay out of politics and other areas of influence and just not be involved and think it's better if we aren't. We saw the damage that has done and thank God that His people are waking up and seeing that we have to take a stand but the truth is, the fight is far from over, and we as christians have the responsibility to stand up for what is right, protect freedom and life, and bring our country back to God.

The reality is that The Bible lays the responsibility on the shoulders of christians to be the ones stepping into areas of leadership and influence in order to bring the world to Christ and in order for the world to see life and success.

The biggest problem is that christians have backed down from the areas of influence and said that it's better if we just stand back and just keep our beliefs in our private lives and not involve them in any other area of life. The problem is that we should be taking the good news into every area and leading with a biblical view. Since christians have withdrawn from media, from business, from politics, from education, and from almost every aspect of culture, something else is filling it and that is evil. That is why we see people destroying the family and marriage, mutilating children and trying to change what God beautifully and wonderfully made. People are murduring and harming children in and the of the womb and think it's ok. People are running our economy into the ground. The people running our politics are directly infringing on our God given rights and trying to take them away. Teachers are indoctrinating children to think that God isn't real and that they weren't created as male and female and that they can change their gender and that aborting (murdering) babies is ok. This is what happens when you take the Bible out of society, when you take Christ of society.

So many christians pray for change but refuse to take part in it. We have to be the change. All throughout history when we see that people made a change and brought the culture back to God and the nation was thriving, it was christians leading that change. Our country was founded on Biblical principles by people who knew that was the only way to succesfully run it and by people who followed God.

How can we expect the culture to change when we've taken out the only thing that can change it?

We have to take back the areas of influence and get involved to take the culture back. We have to get back into the media, business, education, politics, and we have to get back to family the way God intended it.

We came so close to losing freedom and the country we love this past election. And as I said before, we had a huge victory but the fight is far from over. Each and everyone one of us has the duty to be involved and be leading the change. We cannot step aside as evil takes over so we can feel comfortable in our little bubbles as the world we are called to share the good news to and bring people to Christ is taken over.

So today I encourage you to pray about where you can best serve and where God wants to use you and step into that. You can make a difference and you are called to make a difference.
