Hi, my name is Alysha Reed.

My story is one I never thought I would get to share—but here I am, and I’m honored to share it with you. Throughout my entire childhood, I endured sexual abuse by my father—something no one knew, and something that felt impossible to escape. For a long time, it was the most painful and frightening secret to carry, and I believed freedom might never come.

But this is where my story changes, and why I’m here. I’m here to share how the Lord truly works all things together for our good. Even in the darkest places, He was drawing me closer to Himself, guiding me step by step toward freedom. He has redeemed what was stolen, and given me far more than I ever could have imagined.

My hope is that as you read along, my story and continued journey would encourage you to trust Him with your everything—to give Him your wholehearted yes. God has revealed His love to me in countless ways, and I want my life to reflect that love. My prayer is that Jesus would shine through me, that He would use my story to impact others, and that through it all, the good news of His faithfulness would be shared.

This blog is based on the fact that we are INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED, FOR AN INTENTIONAL PURPOSE, BY AN INTENTIONAL GOD.

God, an intentional god, intentionally created us and has a purpose for each and every one of us. And I truly believe that when we realize that and live in that truth, we will be able to operate in what He has for us and we'll be confident in who we are.
