Hi! My name is Alysha Reed.

 

My story is one I honestly thought I'd never get to share, but here we are and I am getting to share it with all of you. My family was the "good" christian family but behind the scenes it was very different. I was sexually abused by my father for my entire childhood. It was something no one knew about, which made it the most painful scary thing to think I would never be free from it. But that's what I am here to share. How the Lord works everything for our good, and He brought me closer to Him every step of the way, ultimately guiding me to freedom. He has redeemed what was stolen and He has given me everything and more of what I ever prayed for. So I hope you read along and my story encourages you, to truly trust Him with your everything and always be willing to give Him your yes. He has shown me His love in many different ways and I want to show the world that love. My goal is to let Jesus shine through and use me to impact those around me and to share the good news.

This blog is based on the fact that we are INTENTIONALLY DESIGNED, FOR AN INTENTIONAL PURPOSE, BY AN INTENTIONAL GOD.

God, an intentional god, intentionally created us and has a purpose for each and every one of us. And I truly believe that when we realize that and live in that truth, we will be able to operate in what He has for us and we'll be confident in who we are.
